The Middle Years Programme

The MYP aims to develop students who are:

  Have the intellect and skills to pursue lives of purpose and meaning.

There are eight core disciplines in the MYP: Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies (Social Studies), Arts (Music and Visual), Design, Physical and Health Education, Sciences, Mathematics, Language Acquisition. This student-centered programme both embraces and transcends traditional school subjects by helping students see the connections between the academic disciplines.

The MYP:

These attributes will give students the perfect platform to be successful in the IB Diploma or A Level programmes. We will continue to use English National Curriculum standards as benchmarks to ensure that our curriculum model has the benefits of the MYP framework supported with the rigour and content of the English National Curriculum.
